Check and confirm the fabric cut along the pattern.
1. Ear (right and left) - 2 pairs
2. Face - 1piece
3. Nose - 1piece
4. Back of the head - 1 piece.
5. Body(front: right & left) - 2 pieces.
6. Body(back: right & left) - 2pieces.
7. Sole of feet - 2 pieces.
8. Tail - 2 pieces.
9. Feet(right & left) - 2 pieces.
10. Arm(right & left) - 2 pieces.




Materials:

    1. Cottony Fabric
    - Desirable length and color of your choice.
    - 30 cm x 90 cm

    2. Three(3) kinds of thread.
    2-1 Thin white thread – to sew 2 panels together.
    2-2 Thick white thread- to attach the head to the body.
    2-3 Dark brown thread- to stitch the nose and the mouth.

    3. Two eyes(made of plastic materials)
    4. Acetate cotton boll(to fill the body)
    5. Pattern.

Suggested Tools:
    1.Two kinds of needles.
    * Long needle(To attach the head to the body and to stitch the nose and the mouth)
    * Fine needle(To do other sewing job, except for the above)

    2. A pair of scissors- To cut pattern and fabric
    3. Awl- To make eye holes
    4. Pen- To draw patterns on the fabric.

Handy To Have:





    START - SEWING( hand sewing)

    1. Put 2 pieces of ear pattern fabric inside out and sew as shown in the picture.


    At this time, do the finish-up running stitching first on 3 corners(marked with black dots) to firmly fix, so that it can prevent from moving while sewing.
    Sewing must be done 3-4mm from the edge of the fabric

    - Make 2 ears. Please see the picture, showing the stitches completed and the.
    - Completed ear by turning inside out.



    2. Dart stitching on the back of head.
    - Fold the fabric pattern of the back of head as shown in the picture.

    - Sew from the bottom(Please refer to the picture * Picture after the sewing is completed.
    3. Also dart stitch on the face as in the #2 above.



    4. Backstitching the face and the nose.
    - Do finish-up stitching on 3 locations marked with dots before backstitching to firmly fix.
    (please refer to the dots in the picture.)

    4-1. Backstitch clock-wise from the center.

    4-2. Backstitch counter clock-wise from the center
    ( After finish-up stitching 2 locations, backstitch counter clock-wise from the center.)

    4-4. In the picture ¡°4-3¡± above, fold in the center to match dots on each side as in the picture(a),
    Then sew from the location with one dot to the other with two dots, and seal the bottom Part of the face.

    5. Attaching the face and back of the head.
    5-1 Put face and back of head together as in the picture, do finish-up stitching on the location with 3 red dots to firmly fix.
    5-2 Backstitch to the end of white arrows on both sides, where the ear will be sewn.

    6. Refer to the #5. Insert 2 ears made in #1 as shown in the picture, and then backstitch.
    (Note: Cottony side of ears out¡¦¡¦. Please refer to the picture)
    * The look from the nose. * The look from the back of head.

    * Inside look, after the backstitching of the ear. * Outside look of ear.



    7. Insert eyes.
    - Make holes on both upper sides of nose and insert plastic eyes already prepared as shown in the picture.

    8. Make body.
    8-1. Do finish-up stitching along the red dots to firmly fix, and then sew along the dotted line to attach arm to the body.

    8-2. Do the same stitching on the other side.
    9. Sewing to attach the feet to the body.
    - Lay red dots upon another and do finish-up stitching(picture 9a)
    - Then do backstitching along the dotted lines.(picture 9b)

    10. Attaching the sole of the foot.
    Insert the sole of the foot into the foot as in the picture.
    After doing finish-up stitching on red dots to firmly fix, do backstitching along the edge to attach the sole of the foot.

    11. Attaching 2 pieces of the front body. After finish-up stitching on red dots to firmly fix

    12. Attaching the left and the right body parts (Completed left and right body with arms and feet)

    12-1 Do finish-up stitching on the red dots to firmly fix. (4 locations)
    12-2 Do backstitching along the black dotted lines only.
    13. Picture after attaching the left and right body and attaching tail.
    (Tail to be made with same sewing method as done for ears)

    * Insert the tail made in the hole of the back of the body (See picture)and do backstitching.
    *Do backstitching after finish-up stitching on 2 red dots to firmly fix.
    13-1. * Picture after attaching the tail to the body.



    14. Attaching the front and the back body parts (body with arms and feet).
    ( Do not backstitch on the black dots. This is the hole to be stuffed with cotton: neck)

    14-1. Do the finish-up stitching on red dots to firmly fix and the do the backstitching.
    14-2. Align the part marked with A. (centering)
    14-3. Do the same sewing method on the right side as the left side by doing the finish-up. Stitching to firmly fix and then backstitch.
    15. After the sewing of the body and the head is completed, turn inside out, and then. Stuff the cotton into the body and the head as shown in the picture.
    To maintain the softness, tightness, and elasticity, stuff appropriate amount of cotton evenly, every nook and corner, without omitting one corner.
    Tail and ears don¡¯t need to be stuffed with cotton.



    16. Attaching the head to the body.
    Tools and supplies to be prepared: Thick long needle and thick thread.
    - Basic sewing--- Stitching to seal by skipping over one stitch.
    * Start.

    - As in the picture above, after sewing around the neck and the body, tie a knot on the front part of the neck to complete, and pull the needle through the neck to the back and cut the thread, so that the thread can¡¯t be seen.
    - Picture after the head and the body are sewn together.

    17. As in the picture, put the needle into the neck and pull it through where the nose and The upper part of the eyes are. Then put the needle back by doing a very short running stitch, so that the thread can¡¯t be seen, and pull the needle again through the neck.
    After tie a knot on the front part of the neck to complete, and pull the needle through the neck to the back and cut the thread, so that the thread can¡¯t be seen.
    18. Sewing Nose and Mouth.
    - Put several strips of dark brown thread through the thick needle, and stitch the nose in the center part of the face as in the picture. Make the Bottom part narrow.
    After the nose is completed, start the mouth from the center.
    Make a curve toward the end of the mouth to made a smiling face.

    Finish up in the middle part, and put the needle through the back of the neck, So that the thread can¡¯t be seen.
